For the Swoppa (you're the one looking to sell your bike, car or motorbike): It's very easy. You can create an account or sign in with your Facebook/Twitter account then add a new Swop. Fill out all the Swop details and give a date range that you expect to reach your final destination so that fellow travellers know roughly when you will be in the city that they are looking to buy your swop.
 

We recommend that you post your swop as soon as you have a rough idea of when/where you will be heading. Even if you just bought your motorbike/car/bicycle from Travel Swop we still recommend reposting it under your name so that you. This way other travellers will be able to start planning their trip based around your swop dates.

For example, if you touch down in Hanoi Vietnam, you find your perfect motorbike to travel across Vietnam and you plan to travel all the way down to Ho Chi Minh City in 4 weeks you should repost your motorbike with a date range (give it a few days leyway each side of your expected arrival date to Ho Chi Minh City as you may stay a little longer (after falling in love with the country) or a little shorter depending on how fast you travel and how long you stay at each location.
 

We ask for a small fee of $4 to register each Swop to cover the cost of hosting, to stop people posting crap for fun and also to continue the development of new features and functions for the site.

For the Swoppy (you're the one looking to buy a piece of the next adventure): It's even easier. Go to the home page, adjust the search filters to match your travel plans.

When you find your swop, click on the CONTACT button, login with Facebook/Twitter or sign up and then in with a new account and send a message to the Swoppa and take it from there.

If you find that your country, city, car, motorbike or bicycle is not in the list on Travel Swop you can send us an email to [email protected] and we will check and update the system.
 

Once done we will send you an email to confirm you can continue. We expect response time to be within 8 hours depending on what time of the day it is.
